Consent to the Processing of Personal Data pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).

We will process your personal data to the following extent: Participant's full name, E-mail address, Country of residence and Date of birth.
Purpose of the Processing of Personal Data
The purpose of processing your personal data is:
- Organization and evaluation of the contest “Hero design contest - Design a brand-new, fully playable hero for the Karak universe” on karakboardgame.com.
- Announcement of results and contacting the selected participants/winners.
- Preparation, negotiation, and execution of a contract (e.g., licensing agreement or author agreement) regarding the design, should your submission be selected for implementation.
Legal Basis for the Processing of Personal Data
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is your consent given by submitting the entry form for the contest, as well as taking steps prior to entering into a contract at the request of the data subject (in the event your design is selected).
Period of the Processing of Personal Data
We will process your personal data for the duration of the contest and its evaluation. In the case of selected/winning entries, personal data will be processed for the period necessary to conclude and fulfill the relevant agreement, or as long as required by applicable legal obligations and for the protection of legitimate rights/legal claims.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending an e-mail to gdpr@albi.cz. Please note that withdrawal of consent prior to the evaluation of the contest will result in your disqualification from the contest, as the processing of your data is necessary for contest administration and selection.
Transmission of Your Personal Data
In order to ensure the purposes described above, in addition to the controller, your personal data may also be processed by processors, in particular by the software provider, the company FG Forrest, a.s., Pernerova 635/57, 186 00 Praha 8, IČO: 25290568, DIČ: CZ25290568 and SmartSelling a.s., Netroufalky 797/5, 625 00 Brno, IČ: 29210372, DIČ: CZ29210372 or, where appropriate, by other providers of processing software, services and applications, and that on the basis of personal data processing contracts concluded in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

Method of the Processing of Personal Data
We process your personal data both automatically and manually and keep records of processing activities. In the processing of personal data by our company, there is no decision-making based solely on automated processing without human assessment, which would have legal effects or would otherwise significantly affect data subjects whose personal data we process.

These principles of personal data protection on visit to the websites enter into effect from 12 October 2026 and are available on-line on our website or on demand in our brick-and-mortar stores.
